  History tells us that religious tolerance and religious belief do not necessarily go hand in hand. Daniel’s photographs are cautionary. They tell us that even in troubling times, there are no easy answers, no quick solutions. The real task each of us must face is to learn how to see the world for what it is. With the help of Daniel’s photographs, we might be able to begin doing just that. He sees the world like no one else I know.
